Dining Room of motel

Lounge and Swimming/hot pool

Front of Fairfield Motel in Bellevue.  I took this to show the flowers in bloom.  Seattle is
about a month ahead of Spokane.  Blossoms and flowers everywhere.

Ivar's at Mukilteo

Wooden carp fish.  In 2003 the waves were so big it destroyed the ocean side of the restaurant and this fish got lost.  Now he is inside Ivars and the place has been
restored and inlarged.  We had a wonderful meal and fun time there.

Ferry trip to Bainbridge Island

The sky was beautiful blue and the temperature was about 55.  We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island, drove a loop on the Island and stopped at Poulsbo for lunch at Azteca.
There are lots of cute little shops and a nice marina and park.  Look at the mountains
in the background with snow on.  Those are the Olympic Mountains

Leavenworth Carriage Ride

On our way home we drove to Leavenworth to spend the afternoon.  We had lunch at a little cafe, a gingerbread cookie at the Gingerbread Bakery and then took a carriage ride.  It was
very nice weather and parking was hard to come by even in March.

RUB-A-DUB-DUB

This is our day at the CDA park. It was cool but running around helped keep you warm.

I just finished two tie quilts for Scott and Grant's birthdays.  I hope they stay snuggly and warm.

Tired Little Boy

After church and a long 2 hour nursery time, this is what we get!   One tired little Logan
at lunch.    He had a few bites of Mac and cheese and just zonked out.

Lions Just Never Have any Fun

Costume Fun - Davis, Logan and Jack trying on costumes at Mindy's

The Dinosaur, the Buzz and the Lion

Looks like Halloween but it isn't.  The boys were just so excited to get dressed into these costumes at Mindy's.  Aren't kids funny that way - - they like to pretend and be someone other than themselves.   Course, Davis still loves his Buzz costume and Logan loved being the
dinosaur and could he ever do the dinosaur walk.   Poor little Jack just went along with the
crowd to please his mother.

OH NO!! A Heart Attack

When we got home from church this sign was on our front door.   As we came inside we
were surprised by red and pink hearts everywhere.  Someone came and attacked us real
good.   Can you count the hearts?   Guess who it was??
What fun we had on Valentine's Day.  Thank you secret attacker!!!   (EJAB&C)

Theater, again

Saturday Erin and I went to see the play Honky Tonk Angels.  It was twice for me but I
loved it more the 2nd time around.   The theater was almost full with a couple of rows
of Red Hat Ladies who seem to make things more lively.     More clapping and foot
stomping and singing this time.
It was a valentine mother/daughter date and we had a good time.
