This is the beginning of the trail to Upheaval Dome which may have been the remains of a volcano at one time. Anyway, sorry there are no people in these pictures but all I could think about was getting the picture at this point. This was after we came back down and I thought we needed this to remember the hike and it's name. Kind of boring I know.

That's not silly, I did the same thing. I was worried that when I got home and looked at all of our photos I wouldn't remember which one goes with which area. So I photographed the signs at the beginning of each hike. See...we're both smart!
