Time in Weston

On our way home we stopped in Weston to put flowers on graves.
The family that lives on my grandparents property had a mother goat with 3 very young babies that were all white.  They were so cute.

Dancing with Carli

There was this very good song playing and I just had to pick her up and start dancing.  She loved it and especially turning around and around.

The Circus Stare

The best thing about the circus I think was watching the kids'
faces.

Circus

We took Scott and Grant to the Shriner's Circus and met Erin and Av and Bodee there.  It was really a fun circus.  Grant just had to wear the green hat.   He claims it's his "lucky hat".  Somehow he needed that for the circus???

Pack Meeting

Erin and Avery and papa J went to pack meeting.
Avery got his Bobcat and papa took pictures.
I stayed home with Carli and Bodee.  He was really
excited for this Pack Meeting.  He's not quite 8 yet but
officially in.
Afterwards the kids went outside and did some races. I will try to get that onto a video.  It was pretty fun to watch. We sure are proud of all our little scouts. I know Erin will post these but I just had to get this one done.
We watched Bodee and Carli while Erin and Avery went to Pack Meeting.  This little boy was dressed in a army camaflog costume and then a cowboy costume.
You gotta understand that today it was Army, cowboy and Indiana Jones all together.   Now that's an
imagination.  He's quite the character.

Playing Time with Carli

Carli at my house.  I let her play with Mindy's standup toy and she loved all the sounds and buttons.  I hope you don't mind Mindy.   I will take good care of it because I know Jack will use it soon.

Hospital Visit

I went up to Sacred Heart to relieve  Erin today.  She went home to shower and see the boys.
Carli slept most of the time Erin was gone and I thought we needed a picture of her.  She
still has coughing spells that makes it hard for her to breath with all the congestion going on.
She's on a monitor so that is good.  What a sweetie

Dinner time

Erin offering some peas and carrots to Carli but she didn't care much for them. She did eat some peaches and oranges.   Not much appetite.  She can only eat with her right hand. The other one is taped to a type of board to hold it still for the iv's.

The Big Track

Cory and Beka have been involved in scouting for 10 years - holding several positions.  This is the Derby track that Cory made and the ward has used every year.  It comes apart into pieces and fits together nicely for storage.   It has been a great investment for the ward.
Last night was their last Derby race - kind of bittersweet memories there.  We attended and enjoyed the fun race.    Grant didn't place but sure had a fun time racing.  They have really been a great example of scouting in their ward.  Each boy got to race his car about 32 times so just running back and forth for each race made them plenty tired and ready for sleep.

The Last One

Grant with his "flame" car.  This is his last Derby.

New Cabinets

We are redoing the cabinets at Bridgeport.  The kitchen will look so new and nice when
it is done.  Jeff is doing the work for us while his work is a little slow right now.  When it is
completed I will post another picture.

DAD'S NEW TRUCK

Now you ask - how did you get that truck chassis on that trailer?
Dad is remaking an older truck and needed a front end part from this chassis.  Found an
ad on Craigslist and we went to pick it up last night up in the CDa mountain area.  It was
a beautiful drive around the lake and then turning left up on top of a mountain called the
Mullan Trail. ( Many large homes up there)  He has an electric type wench that does the
trick and pulls it right up onto the trailer.   Pretty smooth job.  My job was to push the button
to make the wench work.   (I felt very useful).   Well, we hauled it home just fine and
stopped at IHOP for a "breakfast" dinner.   Today it goes down to the shop for further
over-haulin'.  This man always has a job or two in the back to keep him busy.

Liberty

"We must learn to understand the cost that accompanies the blessings we enjoy in life. Otherwise we cannot be fully appreciative of these blessings, or fully responsible in how we use them."
