CJ Ordination Day

Dad and I went to Cory's ward for CJ's Melchizedak PH. ordination.  Cory ordained him
today to the office of Elder and gave him a blessing.  Dad and Jeremy assisted.
It was a GREAT day for him and I was so proud of CJ.   After he gave his hugs he came
and sat down by me and gave me a hug as well.   What a great kid he is.
I got those three men outside and took their picture and then CJ called a fellow over to
take some more pictures because he wanted his Grandma in one too.  I was proud of
him today.

Ordination Day

Love that CJ

It's graduation time for the boys.  Yesterday, after the funeral, we went up to Cory's and
visited and gave graduation gifts.  We were going to go to the bbq down at the lake but
Dad wasn't feeling the greatest so we just came home.  It was fun to see CJ again and
just sit and visit.   Graduation is tomorrow (Monday evening at the Fox).

Discovery Park

A few days ago Erin and the kids and I went to this new playground over  at the Mirabeau
Park.  It just opened and it seems to be quite a popular place for families to hang out.
The kids had a blast and the day we were there it was very busy.  It's very kid friendly
and safe with many different areas to play, jump, run, ride, climb, dig, - just what little
kids like to do.

7-up Biscuits

I have had this biscuit recipe on my counter for a week and just tried it today.  They are
so wonderfully soft and yummy.  It's from http://www.plainchicken.blogspot.com/
7 UP BISCUITS

2 C. Biscuick
1/2 C. sour cream
1/2 C 7 - up
1/4 C. melted butter
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-up.  Makes a very soft dough.  Sprinkle additional
biscuit mix on board and pat dough out with hands.  Melt 1/4 C. butter in a 9 inch square
pan.  Place cut biscuits in pan and bake at 450 degrees until golden brown.  (10-15 min)
(I cut my biscuits with a pizza cutter and worked great.  They are very soft.)
Enjoy!.  Let me know how you like them.   Wyoming honey is the best on these biscuits.
