Logan Benjamin Parker

Taken on his blessing day. Provo, Utah, June 17, 2007

At the Hospital

Kris after the epidural, and the next day eating a peanut buster parfait.

Erin, Mom, Evan and Davis at Bridal Veil Falls.

It is dark here and we were getting ready to leave. This is the only picture of mine that turned out. It looks like Evan and Davis are looking up at the stars and Erin is folding up her stroller. It was a nice walk up the path and the boys had fun splashing in the creek. Wish we had more pictures.

LOGAN'S BATH TIME

Logan's bathtime - getting clean and ready for his Blessing Day. Not sure if the big fuss is necessary but he's going along with it okay. Whatever Mom says, we do.

Blessing Weekend

This is Bodee eating his share of the cake. Of course, it's chocolate and yummy. I found a couple of pictures that didn't get posted below and just thought I'd put them on now. It's kind of unorganized but that's how my life has been lately. Hope you enjoy them anyway.

Cory and Dad at their birthday BBQ party. July 7, 2007
Taking down the shed in our back yard. This was the July 4th weekend and it was a long, hard job. But as you can see, it is done and hauled away. Dad is now in the process of having a nice large shop built for him. It will look much nicer and be much bigger - two cars will be able to fit inside he says. Dad is on the back hoe taking the roof down. Here it is on the trailer. He and Ray ( guy that works for us) hauled it up to Erin's property where they will use it for something up there.

PROVO TRIP - MAY 2007

We are having lunch at the "This is the Place"
Heritage park. We took the train tour and walked around seeing animals, cabins, stores,
the print shop, shaving parlor, furniture shop and hotel. It's a pioneer history experience and so much fun. It was a hot day but we had fun anyway. I would like to go again and spend a little more time there.

Kris and Mom at the Tabernacle

Mom and kristi at the Tabernacle. We drove in Sunday morning to attend Music and the Spoken Word. What a thrill to sit in the Tabernacle again and especially to listen to the Choir broadcast.
We parked across the street in the parking lot and rushed over to get into our seats before the door closed. They performed the Mother's Day broadcast and it was just wonderful. What a special time with Kris -

Holding Logan for the first time

This is the day Logan was born. Andy and I had been at the hospital until Kris had her Epidural and then we left and went on the Home Tour. After he was born we went back and I had the opportunity to hold him. What a beautiful baby he is. 9lb 5 oz. 21" long. What a joy to be there and share this day with my daughters.

My Provo Trip in May

This is Scott and me at Mom's grave.
Scott, Bev and I took Saturday and drove to Weston to put some flowers on Mom and Dad's grave and LaWain's as well. I rented a car to drive to Scott's and then he and Bev drove their car to Weston. Mom's grave was easy to spot because of the dry grass. It was good to go and see the cemetery again. On our way home we stopped in Logan at the Brown Monument and settled the problem with moving the headstone. It was a good day for all of us. We ate dinner at Maddox (sp) in Brigham City and it was very delicious food.

Marshall Lake

Fishing and Relaxing at Marshall Lake

This is our camp and Dad is just sitting in the shade for a bit. I said you just sit still and I will take your picture to prove you relaxed a bit. Dad pulled the camper with the black pickup and I pulled the boat with the blue pickup - - - Marshall Lake is fairly close and so it makes a good camping trip without having to travel far. I wasn't too sure about pulling the boat but it was a breeze and I just followed Dad wherever he went. I learned a lot on this trip and Dad is a good teacher.

This is where Dad is baiting his line getting ready to cast out. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. Marshall Lake is about 1 1/2 hrs. from our house up through Newport and along the Pend 'Oreille River. They don't allow any water skiing or jet skis on the lake and the max you can go is 5 mph. very peaceful and mostly used for fishing and a few swimmers.

We camped Friday night through Sunday afternoon. Sunday we just sat in the shade on the bank and read and talked and watched a few people go out in their boats. The lake has only Cutthroat fish 6-12 inches or maybe a little longer. The campground is pretty much natural with bushes inbetween sites. Anyway, we just went for the fun of it and I especially felt Dad needed a break. It's a little bit of work setting up the trailer and camp but once you are there it's wonderful. We love our camper conveniences and this trip we actually decided on a name for our boat - - - - Lil' Putt.

My fish

This is my fish. I was reeling in my line because we were going to try a different area of the lake and I caught him.
Dad took out the hook though!! I wanted to put him back in and save him, but Dad said no, we are keeping him.

Mom Fishing

I was really fearful to begin with but had so much faith in Dad that he would drive safe.
He said just enjoy it and pretend it's a big
ferry. Our little fishing boat works great and it was so much fun riding around the lake and fishing with it. We went out about 2 hours - from 11 to 1 pm and then went back to the trailer for lunch and a nap. Fishing is hard work.
