This was our Pioneer Day float in 1978 - - a long time ago. Mindy is about 2 and she
is sitting in the back - Sorry about that Mindy. I remember we had to go out west of town to gather the sagebrush. The kids worked on making the covered wagon though.
Do we look like real pioneers? Andy, do you remember Elise Harrison? It was her
Dad that drove the truck for our float. (Dad remembered that part.)

Pioneer float 1978

wow- fun memory. I remember going to gather the sage brush, and I remember making our red wagon into a mini-covered wagon. I remember my bonnet was hot too. Thanks for sharing the pictures mom
