This is loading day for Mindy and Evan. The U-Haul truck was big. Isis
kept going into the truck and smelling everything and checking things out.
She was very curious about what was going on this morning. I drove up
to see how they were doing and most of their things were loaded already.
This is one last picture by the Bridgeport house. It's sure been a useful
little home for a long time. "If only Walls could talk"!!!!

LUNCH AT NANA'S
This is Davis - Mindy's little 2 year old who is full of fun, love, hugs,
kisses, sometimes tantrums, and mostly 100% energy. Mindy was having a lunch
date with Evan and his company so Davis came to have lunch with me. It's a very
choice time when grandsons come to have lunch. I learn so much from them and
of course, expect so much of them too. We had lunch - nuggets, oranges, apples,
cookies, crackers and a drink. We played clay, cars, watched Bob the Builder,
read stories, puzzles - and anything else that is in the playroom. I am sure he
didn't forget anything. Thanks for coming for lunch Davis. "Hugs and Kisses".

OUR MARCH VACATION
March has always been a favorite time of ours - l. because it's our anniversary and 2. it's usually (usually) pretty good weather for traveling.
This year we took 11 days and went to see Kris and Andy. While there Dad did some electical work for their homes and I played. We then went to Cove Fort, Manti, Bryce Canyon, Vernal and onto Wyoming. Dad has more pictures of Bryce. It was a good trip with not many problems. We are already planning another adventure to South Pass and South Pass City. It was a blizzard this time so we couldnt get off the road to venture over to South Pass City. We will do that trip and take in
Martin's Cove next time. We are grateful for children that will let us come and stay in their homes and feed us. Grateful for vehicles that transport us well and a free country where we can travel as we wish. We have many blessings and most of them are our family that we love so much.
This is Wyoming
Here we are in Wyoming - can't you tell? The snowy picture shows the snow all around us and before us a little bit. Going over South Pass was just beautiful but treacherous. It was a blizzard/whiteout with cars on the side of the road.
We made it to Riverton and were glad to be there. We stayed with Elinore and Dan and visited in the evening and morning. From there we stopped at the hot springs in Thermopolis and swam. Onto Burlington to stay with Glenn and Joyce and on Sunday went to Church. It's always good for Dad to go back home and refresh to memories there. We had good roads from here on out. We stayed Sunday night at Livingston and then home on Monday. Oh, home sweet home
Dirty truck at motel in Vernal
This truck really needs a wash - but we still had more roads to go. There was one room left in Vernal and we took it. It was late at night when we drove in so it was lucky to find anything. The men working in the oil fields come there and stay Monday through Thursday and live in the motels there. The one room left happened to be the "Honeymoon Suite" and it was very nice. The next morning we drove over to see the Temple and then to the Dinasaur Museum. It's a great place to bring kids.
The surprise dinner
Mindy, Kristi and I surprised Andy with a dinner night out. Kristi brought the
most famous "plastic" and we went to Macaroni Grill early to set up the table. She
wrapped the chair Andy would be sitting in with the "plastic" and we also had flowers and presents on the table. We then went back to the front of the restaurant to wait for Mindy to bring Andy. It was such a fun evening and the pictures tell the rest of the story.
